Topic: Wellbeing in the Palms of your Hands with Nicky Heath
Nicky will offer a practical introduction to Korean Hand Therapy. This system was developed by Dr Yoo in 1971 and you will find out about the close correlation between the brain and the micro meridian acupressure points found in the hands which can stimulate the whole body. This stimulation helps to keep the body functioning well and boosts the immune system via the application of a mixture of press pellets and moxabustion (small cones of mugwort). You will be able to have a first-hand experience of relaxing moxabustion and you will go home with a personalised hand chart and press pellets to use at home. A simple, yet very effective self-help therapy experience. Nicky owns and runs the Yeleni Charity offering complementary therapies free of charge to those suffering from cancer at her centre in Blackfriars Street and is also a very accomplished therapist and reiki teacher.
